Seven Things that the Blood of Jesus Did
– The
blood of Jesus reconciled you to God.
When God looks at you He sees you through the blood of Jesus.
that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not
counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us
the message of reconciliation. (2 Cor 5:19)
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as
silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of
life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the
precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
(1 Peter 1:18-19)
and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption
that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice
of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to
demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had
left the sins committed beforehand unpunished (Romans
3:24,25)
None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live. (Ex 33:16)
None of the
transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered
against him; because of the righteousness which he has done,
he shall live. (EX 18:22,23)
“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I
shall be whiter than snow”. (Ps 51:7)
In fact, the law
requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and
without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. (Heb
9:22)
Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people
and said, "This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD
has made with you in accordance with all these words." (Ex
24:8)
being justified
freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus, (Rm 3:24)
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! (Rm 5:9,10)
For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. (Rm 3:28)
However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who
justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as
righteousness. (Rm 4:5)
By an act of your human will you let go of worldliness and
obey the Holy Spirit’s promptings. Holiness of God means
that He is separation from all evil. Become a partaker in
His holiness.
"Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you-- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? (Ex 15:11)
but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:15,16)
Obey
your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch
over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that
their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of
no advantage to you. (Heb 13:17)
That is, reverently submitting your human will to the will of God by allowing the blood of Jesus to (1) touch your heart through the Word of the Lord and (2) changing your thinking to agree with God’s thoughts and (3) changing your actions to follow the Beloved Holy Spirit everyday of your life.
And they overcame him by the
blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and
they did not love their lives to the death. (Rev 12:11)
make
you complete in every good work to do His will, working in
you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus
Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews
13:21)
The blood opened Jesus’ grave, the blood of Jesus opened
heaven, and the blood of Jesus opened your heart and enabled
you to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and to receive
The Holy Spirit in your heart.
Thank you Jesus for the blood that saved me.
